Key Team Members

From a simple Indiana farmhand through formal education and real world experience, Kim Kirkendall has spent the past 30 years developing into a top-level executive. With an extensive and diverse construction and facilities operations history, Kim possesses over 10 years of energy infrastructure and development experience that promotes the use of profitable, alternative, clean and renewable energy technologies for large International corporations. Among those where Kim has had deep experience are MGM Mirage where he served as Corporate Vice President of Sustainable Facility Development, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as the Director of Engineering. Additionally, Kim possesses extensive experience in the manufacturing sector building capabilities in plant operations and product engineering with more than 7 years tenure in General Motors’ Delco Electronics division.

 

During his tenure in the construction and facilities domain along with the past 6 years with Energy- Inc Park, Kim has traveled and studied systems around the world including England, the Middle East, Asia, South East Asia and throughout the United States.  As a result he has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the sustainable energy sector and in the green development field.

 He In addition Kim stays current in the field his own continuous education and through positions as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and through teaching at the University of Hawaii-Maui Community College. Kim is Energy-Inc Park’s primary scientist and technology architect. He is the Inventor of several key patent pending components, systems, and copyrights.

 

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration- University of Phoenix at Maui. In addition, he is a graduate of the Leadership Institute-Starwood and MGM Grand University and has extensive executive education and training most notably graduating from the Hotel Design and Development program at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Kim has held over 30 Licenses and Certifications including: General Contractor-License No. C1854201-City of Indianapolis, Indiana, and is a Licensed Electrician- License No. 5006- City of Logansport, Logansport Indiana

 

Finally, Kim has served as a Steering Committee Member of the US Department of Energy, Commercial Real Estate Energy Alliance (CREEA) and as a founding Board Member of the non-profit organization Renewable Energy and Conservation Corporation.

Steve Provost, COO

Steve is a former executive in the high-tech industry where he had a background in sales and professional services leadership.  Currently Steve provides part-time consulting to start-up technology firms along with his duties at Energy-Inc Park. Additionally he has served as an advisor to several start-up businesses in the technology sector and is a board member for Blue Metal Architects in Watertown, MA.

 

Prior to joining Energy-Inc Park, Steve worked at Microsoft for 10 years serving as Vice President of Microsoft’s Consulting and Services operations in the US and Vice President of Sales for Microsoft’s world-wide services organization. In these roles Steve developed and led large teams of professional services consultants and senior managers. Steve also spent over 20 years at IBM and Computer Sciences Corporation where he held a variety of positions in software engineering & development, sales, and management. 

 

Steve holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Providence College.  He has previously served on a variety of non-profit boards.

John O'Hurley, Partner

Award-winning actor John O’Hurley is equally fluent in the world of entertainment and business. He has catapulted into television’s busiest and most versatile actor/show host, Broadway star, advertising hero as well as being a New York Times best-selling author and Billboard chart-topping composer. O’Hurley is best known as “J. Peterman” on “Seinfeld” which is now the #1 syndicated show in the world and can be seen in 85 countries. John won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work on “Seinfeld.” It was O’Hurley’s unique portrayal of the wry and witty “J. Peterman” that led to dozens of advertising campaigns for companies such as Xerox and The Travel Channel, earning him multiple advertising and marketing industry awards.

 

John reappeared in prime time in 2005, capturing America’s heart with his turn on Season 1 of “Dancing with the Stars,” where he officially won the series with the highly contested  “Dance Off.” After a two-year stint hosting “To Tell The Truth” and a three-year stint hosting USA’s “Get Golf with the PGA TOUR”, O’Hurley is now the regular host of NBC Sports highest rated yearly show, “The 

National Dog Show presented by Purina,” a Thanksgiving tradition to 22 million viewers. He was also host of the long-time popular game show “Family Feud,” and currently tours the U.S. in the starring role as Billy Flynn in the Broadway hit “Chicago”.   In addition; life imitates art for him as John is now the business partner of the J. Peterman Company, along with the real J. Peterman. His unusual versatility as both entertainer and businessman was the focus of many features in magazines like Business Week and Time Magazine. Aside from his position as part owner of the J. Peterman Company, he is a principal partner in six companies, most notably the venture capital company, Round,  One Investments in Beverly Hills, and founder and principal partner in PoliteView, a unique on-line delivery platform used extensively by the US Government, airlines, The UN, and many Fortune 500 Corporations. John brings a vast and unique marketing opportunity to Energy-Inc with his Hollywood, political and business connections.
